Have you ever sat inside an orchestra? Felt the violin, clarinet or timpani reverberating around you?
Guided by their mission to redefine orchestral performance for the modern audience, Arch Sinfonia will perform a totally immersive experience of Beethoven's 1806 Symphony No. 4, - a progressive work that challenges conventions and stands as testament to his genius - alongside Schumann’s 1841’s Overture, Scherzo and Finale - a graceful and delicate Overture, quickly transforming into a stormy Scherzo before a rousing Finale.
The performance will be ‘in the round’ with some members of the audience interspersed within the orchestra. This is the artistic signature of Chloé Van Soeterstède, Arch Sinfonia’s founder and conductor, heralded as a performer with ‘verve and grace, eliciting transparency and precision’ - says Bachtrack.
