The RPS Conversation is a chance to get together with allies across the classical music sphere, whom you may not have connected with before, to share thoughts and aspirations and draw fresh energy and agency to take onwards with you.
Across the afternoon, in a positive and supportive setting, you will have chance to engage with an array of new contacts, express your perspective and concerns on classical music, and draw insights from like-minded people in return. Together we’ll apply our collective imagination to some of the challenges and opportunities facing classical music today, and make some resolutions together to enrich all our next steps.
We hope it will be a chance for you to plug in and recharge in ways that regular routines often don’t allow. For musicians, dedicated music-lovers, and those who work for musical organisations at any level, your voice will be a valued part of the conversation.
The event runs from 1.30 to 6.00pm with refreshments provided. Guests are welcome to stay for a drink at the venue’s paid bar once the event is over.
For the most effective conversation, this occasion is limited to 40 guests. We hope to present it on a bigger scale in future, drawing from the experience of those taking part this time. Therefore, we encourage early booking.
