Nature Echo ~ Old Street, London

  • LSO St Luke's 161 Old Street London, England, EC1V 9NG United Kingdom (map)

Join trailblazing Associate Artists, Tangram, on a journey navigating the fragile and destructive relationship between humans and our environment featuring guest director and performance artist Echo Morgan.

Experience the visceral sounds of ice and plastic alongside evocations of disappearing whalesong and bioluminescence, with the collective Tangram, our Associate Artists at LSO St Luke’s. Bringing together contemporary music from across four continents, Tangram presents a powerful reflection on the global issue of climate change. They perform a special programme of music by Liza Lim, George Crumb, Dai Fujikura, Chen Yi, Alex Ho and Sun Keting, alongside the world premiere of a new commission by Zhenyan Li.

On their 5-year anniversary, Tangram is led by founding artist Daniel Shao. They are joined by the brilliant Echo Morgan, whose fearless artistry articulates enchanting forms of visual and performed expression.
