The Multi-Story Orchestra’s Young Creatives join forces with composer Kate Whitley to present Verified, an exploration of authenticity in the age of social media.
The large-scale work for choir and orchestra - commissioned by and in celebration of the Borletti Buitoni Trust’s 20th Anniversary - interrogates crises of identity, and acceptance.
Featuring three original songs, Verified blends orchestral instrumentation with R&B, reggaeton and rap under the musical leadership of songwriters Abimaro Gunnell, Frances Lobo and trombonist Yusuf Narcin, performing alongside internationally acclaimed soloists Ruby Hughes, Hyeyoon Park and Simone Rubino of The Borletti Buitoni Trust, and soprano Francesa Chiejina.
